Refunds & cancellation

Thirty days. No questions.

If Campsite Ranger doesn’t earn its keep, email us and we’ll refund you in full. No forms, no “retention specialist,” no explanation required. We’d rather lose the money than have someone feel stuck.

What we sell

Refunds

Within 30 days of any purchase, you get a full refund on request. Email chris@chrisdorsey.cofrom the address on your account and say you’d like your money back. That’s the whole process. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically land within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

After 30 days, we’ll still consider it — if the service was broken, if alerts didn’t reach you, or if something went wrong on our end, just ask. We handle those case by case and we lean toward saying yes.

Nothing auto-renews. Ever.

A Founding Explorer year is a one-time charge, not a subscription. There is no card on file quietly billing you next summer. About a month before your year ends we’ll email and ask whether you want another lap at your locked rate. If you ignore that email, nothing happens except that your extra watches pause — your first watch keeps working free, your data stays, and your founding number stays yours if you come back.

Because there’s no subscription, there’s nothing to cancel. If you want your account and data deleted entirely, email us and it’s done, usually the same day.

What we can’t promise

We alert you when a campsite or permit opens; we don’t reserve, hold, or guarantee it. Cancellations get claimed fast and sometimes someone beats you to it. That’s not a malfunction, it’s the nature of the thing — but if you feel the service didn’t deliver, the 30-day refund covers you regardless of the reason.
