If Campsite Ranger doesn’t earn its keep, email us and we’ll refund you in full. No forms, no “retention specialist,” no explanation required. We’d rather lose the money than have someone feel stuck.

What we sell

• Founding Ranger — $25 a year. Unlimited campsite, permit, and wilderness watches, text alerts the day they launch, release reminders for every system, and “clear elsewhere” rebook suggestions.

  The rate is locked for life for the first 100 members.

• Annual — $49 a year. Everything above, once the Founding 100 are gone. Same promises, no cap.
• One Trip — $7 per trip while the Founding 100 last, $11 after — every alert we ship, for one set of dates, with no account commitment.
• Free — $0, always. One active watch, trip-safety alerts on your dates, the live Colorado conditions board, RMNP release reminders, and every guide.

Refunds

Within 30 days of any purchase, you get a full refund on request. Email chris@campsiteranger.com from the address on your account and say you’d like your money back. That’s the whole process.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically land within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

After 30 days, we’ll still consider it — if the service was broken, if alerts didn’t reach you, or if something went wrong on our end, just ask. We handle those case by case and we lean toward saying yes.

Nothing renews by itself.

Every plan is a one-time payment covering one year from the day you buy it. Nothing auto-renews: your year runs out rather than rolling over, so a charge can never arrive because you forgot to cancel.

About a month before it ends we email you a heads-up, and if it does run out we email you the day after so the quiet is never a mystery. Renewing is a deliberate click at your locked rate; doing nothing costs nothing.

If you let it lapse, your first watch keeps working free, your data stays, and your founding number stays yours at your locked rate if you come back. Renewing is one click at that rate; skipping it takes nothing at all.

Want your account and data deleted entirely? Email us and it’s done, usually the same day.

What we can’t promise

We alert you when a campsite or permit opens; we don’t reserve, hold, or guarantee it. Cancellations get claimed fast and sometimes someone beats you to it.

That’s not a malfunction, it’s the nature of the thing — but if you feel the service didn’t deliver, the 30-day refund covers you regardless of the reason.
